Success Story of Hanna

Hanna Ali also came into the summer enrichment program as a Freshman. She was a determined young lady in STEM whom had trouble testing. She was number one in her class. Her SAT was not very impressive, through the summer enrichment program her scores climbed. Hanna went from a 1008 SAT score to a 1510. This with her number 1 ranking earned her a full-time scholarship to the University of Texas at Dallas in the Bio-Medical Engineering Field. She also is paid to go to college. She spent 4 years in the STEM summer exploration program, and completed 56 hours of dual credit. She credits the summer enrichment program for helping her in Higher math and science. Hanna says “in a male dominated field, I am confident I can solve any math or science problem.” Hanna is a Senior ready to graduate. She has worked as a research student at the UTD, and several internships. She says she is a woman of STEM whom is not afraid to take on the world through engineering.
